The best way to wash our products is to use the method of hand washing. This gentle method of cleaning helps to preserve the delicate fabrics and their logo prints.

To hand wash your Damai pieces, fill a basin or sink with lukewarm water and a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate and/or eco friendly fabrics. Gently agitate the items in the water, paying attention to any areas that may be stained or soiled. Allow them to soak for a few minutes before rinsing them thoroughly with clean water.

After rinsing, gently squeeze out any excess water. Avoid wringing or twisting them, as this can distort their shape. You could take it to another level and lay them flat on a clean towel and roll the towel up, pressing gently to absorb more moisture but this is not absolutely necessary. Then hang them out to air dry.

Gentle & Cool Cycle

An alternative method to washing our products would be to use a gentle and cool cycle on your washing machine. If using this method, it is important to place the items into a laundry bag and wash them with only similar sports wear fabrics.

Ensure that the chosen cycle uses cool temperatures and a gentle or delicate mode. Again, please use only mild detergent in the machine and hang dry pieces after they have been washed. These tips are key to maintaining the quality and longevity of your athleisure wear.

Additional Tips

  • Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents, as they can damage the fabrics and elastic.
  • Do not iron your pieces, as the heat can cause them to lose their shape.
  • Do not use a dryer, only air dry your pieces
